SAN FRANCISCO JANUARY 23, 2018, eXo Platform, the leading open source provider of digital collaboration solutions, appoints Carlos Diaz as its chairman of the board.

Carlos is a recognised entrepreneur with several successful start-up ventures under his belt. He is also a visionary – among other things, he pioneered the introduction of social networks into the corporate world with BlueKiwi. Carlos’s entrepreneurial and market expertise will be real assets at a time when eXo is looking to further expand its market position and technological advance,” – said Benjamin Mestrallet, eXo’s CEO.

eXo is an exciting company. I can’t wait to get involved with its development,” replied Carlos Diaz.

For the past 20 years, Carlos has been notching up successes in the field of innovative start-up development. At the age of 23, he co-founded Reflect Digital Agency acquired by Emakina Group. He then created BlueKiwi, which has become a European leader in social networking solutions for businesses, and was subsequently sold to ATOS.

Currently, Carlos is leading The Refiners, a cross-border funding programme based in San Francisco, which helps international startups to thrive in Silicon Valley.
