Rapper, actor and entrepreneur Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, recently discovered that he’s a millionaire in bitcoins.
In 2014, the rapper accepted bitcoins for his Animal Ambition album and completely forgot about it. This only happens to rich people.
At that time, the amount of the cryptocurrency he accepted was worth $400,000. His holdings are now worth somewhere between $7 million and $9 million in a fluctuating yet elevated market.
50 Cent posted a screenshot on his Instagram with the caption: ‘Not bad for a kid from South Side, I’m so proud of me.’
At least 50 Cent really did ‘get rich’ and didn’t ‘die trying’.
We can make all the jokes we want and laugh as much as we like because he’ll be laughing too – on his way to the bank. 😉
