In honour of the occasion, <strong>Google<\/strong> has released a video<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-I_CIy3Uqx0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Although recently we have been questioning our relationship with technology and <strong>Google<\/strong> has been in the middle of <a href=\"https:\/\/www-upgrade.exoplatform.com\/blog\/2018\/08\/03\/cartoon-week-google-build-censored-search-engine-china\/\">various controversies,<\/a> we should dedicate this day to celebrate what <strong>Google<\/strong> has been doing for two decades.<\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"https:\/\/www-upgrade.exoplatform.com\/blog\/2018\/05\/11\/cartoon-week-google-assistant-manage-life\/\">Google Duplex<\/a> managing our lives, to playing doctor by <a href=\"https:\/\/www-upgrade.exoplatform.com\/blog\/2017\/08\/25\/cartoon-week-google-offer-diagnostic-test-depression\/\">diagnosing depression<\/a> and helping us to not to get lost, this <strong>search engine<\/strong> is very involved in our lives and is even able to read our minds with minimal effort from us.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s like Grandma, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n<p>Other <strong>tech giants<\/strong> are celebrating their 20th birthday too, including PayPal, Mozilla and VMware. 1998 was a brilliant year for them. Each has made a positive impact but every invention comes with side effects.<\/p>\n<p>Spreading fake news and getting hacked while shopping online are just some challenges these companies face.
